Cottage Grove Pedestrian and Bicycle Plan

We’re planning for a more bikeable, walkable and livable Cottage Grove. A new Pedestrian and Bicycle Plan will provide a roadmap for safer and more convenient travel options for people who walk and bike throughout the community.

Goals of the Plan

The Cottage Grove Pedestrian and Bicycle Plan will identify projects and strategies to improve active transportation citywide. Once complete, the 20-year master plan will identify strategies and solutions to:

Provide safer access for people walking, bicycling and accessing transit

Enhance the quality of our current pedestrian and bicycle network and identifying new trail, sidewalk and bikeway opportunities

Improve connectivity to areas that are growing, to schools and essential destinations, and to popular attractions like the Row River Trail

Timeline

The Plan kicked off in November 2022 and will be finalized in July 2024. There will be many opportunities to get involved with the development of the plan. Sign up below to receive email updates about the plan.
